Hi, my name is Amy, and I am the founder and owner of Bella Blends.
I’m so grateful you’re here and taking the time to visit our site.
I’d love to share how Bella Blends began.
For over 20 years, I worked as a hairdresser. I’m also a proud mom of three beautiful children and the wife of a loving, supportive husband. After the birth of my third child, I began struggling deeply with anxiety—at times, it felt completely debilitating. I sought help from my doctor, who was kind and supportive, but the options offered didn’t feel aligned with what I wanted for my body and my life.I started searching for a more natural path.A friend introduced me to essential oils and shared how much they had helped her. I decided to give it a try and ordered my first kit. From the moment it arrived, I was hooked. I began using the oils daily and quickly noticed a shift—not only in my anxiety, but in the overall wellness of my entire family. I found myself reaching for essential oils to support my children, my home, my emotions, and our everyday routines.
That was the beginning of everything.
Essential oils became a cornerstone of my wellness journey, alongside mindful nutrition, movement, and supplements. Over time, I felt more balanced, more grounded, and more like myself again. As I learned, I began creating custom blends for friends and clients—and I found so much joy and purpose in helping others feel supported too.One of my clients, Maria, who is a graphic designer, encouraged me to turn my passion into something more. She suggested creating a name and a label. At the time, I laughed and said, “I just love making blends and giving them away.”
Not long after, our beloved black lab, Bella, passed away. Our hearts were broken. She was truly part of our family. In the grief of losing her, something shifted within me. Life felt fragile, precious, and far too short not to pursue the things that matter most.
With the love and encouragement of my family—and the creative help of Maria—Bella Blends was born. We named the business after our sweet Bella, honoring her memory, and added “Blends” to reflect my passion for creating purposeful, thoughtful essential oil products.
I truly believe this journey has been guided by faith, and I’m endlessly grateful for every person who supports this small business.
